Join us for this Weekend Immersion (Friday evening-all day Saturday and Sunday)
If mindfulness is the cultivation of awareness, Relatefulness is the cultivation of awareness interpersonally. Practicing Relatefulness is a frontier where any modality that explores the interpersonal space is included.
This weekend (Friday night, All day Saturday and Sunday) will focus specifically on FLOW.
Flow is a practice with roots in Circling but an expanded inclusion. Flow can look structureless which can be quite intense for people to experience OR can feel as natural as seeing an old friend.
In normal life we rely on seemingly infinite conversational traffic norms that can feel like “politeness”. We don’t specifically set out to upend or disrupt these norms but seek to shed the limitations of thinking, “everybody needs to take a turn,” as well as “anything that looks like structure is wrong.”
There are no specific rules but you will notice people’s cultural norms creating clusters of behavior that look like implicit rules.
One thing that always happens is that we will all get in-the-moment feedback on what it’s like to be together. Another thing that always happens is we will appreciate exactly what we create. Some people have the thought, “If I was leading this I would _____!” No one is explicitly stopping you from creating that in this space. People in the space may or may not be enrolled but this dynamic assuredly will help us meet each other more.
The benefits of this practice are innumerable. From feeling alone in a crowd to navigating family dynamics the practice of Flow promotes a fluidity that seems to promote peace around concepts of Love, Truth, seen-ness, expression, and listening.

February 24th and 25th from 10:00am to 6:00pm with a 90 min lunch break each day.
LOCATION
Vancouver Island, TBD.
EARLY BIRD PRICE: $262 until Jan 1st 2024
REGULAR PRICE: $299
THINGS TO NOTE:
-Please come early enough so that you can get settled in the space before we start. 15 minutes is great. It’s ok if you’re just on time.
-The term “safe space” has come up a lot recently and this event is more like real life, a “brave space”. There are no guarantees about how you will be received by the group. If you want a certain kind of reception then you are empowered to create it. You can bring anything you want as long as you’re ready to see how it impacts the group. While this could look like low cost group therapy, in my experience, people who come to this event need to be secure in their adulthood and take agency to say yes and no. While I will be guiding the group this practice requires agency.
Feel free to come and leave if it's not what you're needing.
Here’s some videos and a podcast I made that can show you a bit more of kind of awareness I’ll be bringing.
