About Yvonne
Yvonne is a certified Relateful Facilitator & Coach whose style is intuitive, present, and welcoming of the full spectrum of human experience. With steadiness, humor, and warmth, she creates space for aliveness — able to be with the hard things, the deep, the dark, and the shadow. Her own exploration of humanity’s struggles, including the frustrations of power, greed, and destruction, has enabled her to hold a vast range of experience, meeting vulnerability, despair, and laughter alike with attunement and presence. From this grounded capacity, she also trusts life and welcomes joy, inviting all of it —light and dark— to be met with care.
She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from UC Irvine, in Chemistry and Applied Ecology, and spent years in nonprofit education, including at TreePeople in Beverly Hills where she helped launch service-learning programs that combined ecosystem restoration with hands-on education. Earlier in her journey, she pursued a master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling, but discovered her path lay beyond story and diagnosis. She was searching for something more alive and embodied—something she later found in Relatefulness.
Over decades, she has explored coaching, counseling, comedy, acting, yoga (teaching), hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Timeline Therapy, intuitive massage, metaphysics, ecology, science, and spirituality. What once felt like separate threads now weave together into her work: Presence-based coaching and facilitation that bring lightness, depth, and integration. Her approach emphasizes nervous system awareness, compassion, and humor— helping people reconnect to their own wholeness. She brings grounded nervous system stability, the presence of a guide, the curiosity of a scholar, and the playfulness of a comedian.

What are your areas of expertise/research interests within the self- development/awareness context?
I love exploring paradoxes — sorrow and joy, loss and aliveness — without collapsing into one or bypassing the other. My practice is about being with reality as it is, while staying connected to life, so that presence with pain can also open into deeper joy, awe, and meaning.
What are your Relateful personal interests?
I’m fascinated by how Relatefulness weaves presence into human connection. From this space, our perceptions of the times we’re living in — social, ecological, and political — can be met as invitations into love, rather than reasons to shut down or freak out.
Do you have a passion or purpose, a personal goal or aspiration, or a personal motto?
My mantra is: "Thank you, I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me". In love, presence, and humor, I return again and again to remembering the planet as already whole — perfectly imperfect, always changing, guided by its own knowing and intelligence — of which we are a part, and to which we always already belong.
Fun fact: Is there something fun or unexpected about you that you’d like to share with the world?
I’m an artist at heart — making up new dance moves, especially in conscious dance containers with permission to move and shake in crazy ways, and love improvising deep dramatic silly characters with fun voices!
Do you have any hobbies or interests that you’d like to include?
Cloud-gazing like it’s my job, worshipping the sun, savoring sunsets as the earth’s most delicious gift — and sleeping in a tent under the stars, with my dogs, is my perfect vacation.
