A really fun and unique podcast interview 🎥

This week we've got another really fun and unique podcast interview with MU host Lucas Perry asking all about A Course in Miracles.

A Course in Miracles is a very beautiful and very fringe mystical text that has been a hugely positive influence on me for at least the past twenty years, and is part of the milieu that helped inform and inspire what we now call relatefulness.

Although we’re not explicitly weaving relatefulness in, you will no doubt see constant connections listening to the 87 min episode.

I really enjoyed the conversation; it was powerful for me to open up and publicly claim this lineage. I’ve never hidden the influence A Course in Miracles (ACiM for short) has on me or my flavor of being relateful, but I’ve kept it somewhat in the background. ACiM is esoteric and I've made accessibility a priority. I've also prioritized sharing relateful practices rather than promoting any particular worldview. But that's its own worldview with its own blindspots and separations... I invite y'all (evermore) into the true spirit of exploration and empiricism. Relatefulness works very nicely with all sorts of beliefs systems, and we want to keep it that way.

Much of what Lucas and I discuss might sound very familiar even if the language is new; I think Lucas' big takeaway was how similar extremely different-sounds mystical paths really are. As always, the map is not the territory, eh? As ACiM says, “words are but symbols of symbols. They are thus twice removed from reality.”

Anyway, for all these reasons and more, including a lot of letting go of my own BS, I'm glad this is coming out now. I hope you enjoy engaging this convo with us as much as we did recording it.
