With joy and sadness in hearts, we say goodbye to one of our beloved community members, Liz Gans, who passed away earlier this week. Liz was a vibrant, embodied, and loving being who touched the hearts of everyone she met.

I first met Liz through Michael Blas, and I quickly came to admire her passion for authentic relating and her gift for movement, body, and dance. Liz had a rare talent for inspiring others to move their bodies in new and exciting ways, and her classes were always filled with joy, laughter and insight. Liz was also an accomplished facilitator in Circling. She was always willing to take risks and push her own edges in order to create deeper connections with those around her. But above all else, Liz was a kind and loving soul who radiated warmth and compassion wherever she went.

What I loved most about Liz was how deeply and fully she lived. Her love of life and people was infectious, and she brought earnest playfulness and healthy sensuality to every gathering. While we will miss Liz deeply, we take comfort in knowing that she lived her life to the fullest, with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. Her impact on our community and our lives will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Liz. We honor and celebrate the vibrant, embodied, loving being that you were, and we are grateful for the time we had with you.

With love, Jordan
