“Claim” Your Experience 🗝️

What if we say “claim your experience” rather than “own your experience”, as a pointer to better relating?

Owning, (1) isn’t much of an action one can take, and (2) implies that you could not-own, whereas “claim” implies that you do already own/possess the thing you need to claim you’ve just asked someone else (via projection) to hold onto it for you. I’d say “reclaim” but honestly most of this 💩, while we’ve owned it our whole lives (in the sense that it’s undeniably ours), we’ve never really claimed as part of who we are.

Does 'claiming' help us lovingly come into more alignment with ourselves and the truth?

With love, Jordan
